In 1989, the final release was in the livery of East Surrey Omnibus Companies fitted with the Advertising boards for 'Lifebuoy Soap' and the front destination board read Hartfield.
Originally there was a spelling mistake but this was later rectified.

Stairway Advertising Panel:
'LIFEBOUY SOAP' in white on black panel with yellow upper and lower border edges.
Side Upper Panels:
'LIFEBUOY SOAP' with 'ROYAL DISINFECTANT' and crest in white on converging dark brown panel, on both sides.
'FOR SAVING LIFE', 'TO CLEANSE', 'FOR PRESERVATION OF HEALTH' and 'TO PURIFY' in black on yellow background, on both sides.
Side Lower Panels: (Tampo)
'EAST SURREY' in gold on both sides.

Variations/Rarities: The early East Surrey bus destination board has a spelling mistake that read "COPTWORNE". Later issues were modified to "COPTHORNE".

Interesting Facts: As soon as collectors knew of the correctly spelt labels , they were virtually all bought up and Issue 2 literally disappeared from the market.

The production run was 60,000.
